The Essentials:
Saffron strands-1/4 tsp
Milk - 2 tbsp for soaking saffron strands
chappatti flour- 100 gms
Ghee 1/2 tsp
The Formula:
Frst soak saffron strands in milk preparably cold.Once saffron isully dissolved to get yellow colored milk.Pour into wheat flour.Knead dough gently.And then Add Ghee.Knead well to get enough soft and firm dough.
With a rolling pin,Roll out each ball on lightly floured rolling slab and plate.Brush ghee slightly.Cook on tava or griddle till slight brown specks are formed.Turn around to get the same. Done my rich roti- the Saffron flavoured.
