Indian Recipe Video: How to make Indian Bread or Chapati

I just can’t get enough of cooking videos!

They are much more easier to follow than a printed recipe but the problem is it requires a relatively fast internet connection and many people might not just like the idea of watching a video.

There are two videos below that tell you how to make Chapati or
the commonest version of the Indian bread.

You can also check out this recipe for how to make Chapati or Roti (printable text version).

On a slower connection, the video might take a long time to load. In that case, you can take a look around the site and come back to watch the video.

Another recipe for Chapati, this one comes from Sheba’s Kitchen. I haven’t really checked out the video. You are free to comment if you know of any other Indian cooking video links and I’ll try to include them all here..

Your chapati bread video was excellent. Thank you for taking the time to share your skills and recipes with the world. I have a problem with yeast found in other bread recipes, so I avoided eating bread for years. This recipe is not only delicious and healthy, but it is so quick and easy, I can’t wait to make it again. I can have fresh bread every day now.
