Preethi from Delhi brings you this exquisite and rich recipe for Chicken Kali Mirch. It can served with Rotis or Rice or can be consumed as it is. Enjoy this weekend with the delicious curry and impress your guests.

You’ll need:
- 1 kilogram chicken
- 1/2 cup black pepper corns
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- 5-6 cloves
- 1 large stem curry leaves
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 10 garlic cloves chopped
- 4 tablespoon oil
Method:
Coarsely grind pepper corns.Mix turmeric,salt,ground pepper and chicken and refrigerate for 1 hour. Heat oil in a pan and throw in the cloves first. Now put garlic and then onion.
Once the onions are pink add the tomatoes. As the tomatoes begin to roast add coriander powder and saute till oil seperates. Now add a cup of waterand curry leaves.
Once the water starts boiling add the chicken. Cover and cook on low heat till chicken is tender. Serve hot with rotis.

Hey Preeti I tried the Chicken kali Mirch.It turned out to be awesome..My hubby was fida on it…The only variation I did was I didnt put the tomotoes…..
