Enjoy this sweet and spicy curry made from rich dryfruits…
Ingredients
150 gms Gram flour (besan)
300 gms Dahi (curd)
1/2 tsp methi
1 cup of mixed dryfruits
a pinch of asafetida
a small bunch of fresh coriander
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ground coriander powder
salt to taste
1/2 tsp ghee
Method
Mix two cups of water with the Dahi and whip well. Mix the powdered spices with besan, sieve well and add to Dahi. Saute Hing (asafetida) and methi in hot ghee and pour the dahi-besan mixture into it. Keep stirring with a ladle till it comes to a boil.
When the mixture thickens, add the dried fruits along with chopped coriander and remove from the heat after 10 minutes . Serve hot with Chapathies or Boiled rice..
