Bhakri
Ingredients:
- 450 gms flour,
- 100 gms neatly beaten sour curd,
- ½ tsp. turmeric powder.
- Pinch of asafoetida.
- 50 grams melted ghee.
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
Mix together all the dry ingredients.
Rub in ghee, then add curds and form a smooth dough. Set aside for 1 hour. Divide the dough into, balls.
Roll out each ball into a round chapati and shallow fry to a golden brown colour.
Serve hot.
