Bhakri 

 

Ingredients:

  • 450 gms flour,
  • 100 gms neatly beaten sour curd,
  • ½  tsp. turmeric powder. 
  • Pinch of asafoetida.
  • 50 grams melted ghee.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

Mix together all the dry ingredients.

Rub in ghee, then add curds and form a smooth dough. Set aside for 1 hour. Divide the dough into, balls.

Roll out each ball into a round chapati and shal­low fry to a golden brown colour.  

Serve hot.
